METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints linebacker Dannell Ellerbe was declared out for Sunday’s season opener against the Oakland Raiders with a quad injury that kept him out of practice all week. But there is a good chance that everyone else on the Saints' roster will be healthy enough to play.
Wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle), left tackle Terron Armstead (knee/quad) and tight end Chris Manhertz (head) are all officially listed as questionable. But keep in mind that the NFL no longer has a “probable” designation for injured players.
