guard Landon Turner gained valuable experience during his rookie campaign in 2016.
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Turner, who signed as an undrafted free agent out North Carolina, spent the entire regular season on the active 53-man roster and appeared in seven games with one start.
The live repetitions were essential for his development, of course, but Turner especially coveted the opportunity to absorb knowledge from veteran guard Jahri Evans.
"I tried to play like him, so that was a situation I had to take advantage of," Turner said. "I couldn't ask for a better person to have in front of me and learn from.
