A source tells the Advocate the Saints will not be resigning Kenny Vaccaro.
Kenny Vaccaro a 1st round pick by the Saints in 2013, was an immediate starter haunted by inconsistent play and plagued with injuries. He ended one season with a broke ankle and his 2017 season ending when he went on IR with a groin injury. A 4 game suspension in 2016 for Adderall didn’t help his cause either.
In five years Vaccaro racked up 7.5 sacks and 8 interceptions. He also had 4 forced fumbles and recovered 3 fumbles. Was also credited with 283 solo tackles and 102 assisted tackles.
