The Saints looked to have some reason for concern after their first injury report released on Wednesday ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. Both starting receivers, Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn Jr. sat out practice along with starting defensive tackle Tyeler Davison.
Michael Thomas was out on Wednesday, Sep. 12, with an unspecified illness and Ginn was dealing with a knee issue. Both were back at practice on Thursday though Ginn was limited.
Thomas was responsible for 34-percent of the yardage the Saints put up against the Buccaneers in Week 1 and is easily Drew Brees’ favorite receiving target.
