The New Orleans Saints will add former wide receiver Marques Colston and former running back Reggie Bush to the Saints Hall of Fame later this year, the team announced Wednesday. The Saints also recognized former Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco with the Joe Gemeli fleur-de-lis award. Colston and Bush will join former teammates Pierre Thomas, Lance Moore, Jonathan Vilma, Carl Nicks, Deuce McAllister, and Will Smith in the team Hall of Fame. Induction ceremonies will be held surrounding an October 27 home game against the Arizona Cardinals.
These two players each joined the Saints in the very first draft class overseen by longtime head coach Sean Payton, but their origins couldn’t have been more different.
