Saints: In Week 4, 3 reasons for hope, resolution and concern

The win by the Saints, on the road, in the rain, in one of the loudest stadiums in football was impressive. But this isn’t the Seahawks we’re used to. A decent offense and a lower third-tier defense isn’t what has won them a Super Bowl in the past. But a win is a win for the Saints behind Teddy Bridgewater rather than Drew Brees.

Things get much more difficult this coming Sunday night in Week 5. It’s the Saints’ second primetime appearance of the young 2019 Season and it’s going to be a war. With Drew Brees last year it was a grueling defensive battle with the Saints coming out on the wrong side of the ledger in the end, 13-10.
