Even with final cuts being turned in on Saturday afternoon, there’s still a lot of roster jostling at hand. The New Orleans Saints have some spots to address after turning in their initial 53-man roster, and it’s already starting. A Sunday morning report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport states that recently released New England Patriots running back Mike Gillislee will be in for a visit.
Rapoport added that the two could get something done if it’s the right fit. Some may recall Gillislee’s hot start last season, which saw him produce 4 touchdowns and 114 rushing yards in the first two games for Bill Belichick in 2017.
