The New Orleans Saints worked quickly to address a major position of need after losing defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, signing free agent Tyrunn Walker and putting three other linemen through tryouts. The Saints have less than a week to prepare to host the Los Angeles Rams for a chance to compete in Super Bowl 53, so time was of the essence. Per Field Yates of ESPN, New Orleans put defensive linemen Jarvis Jenkins, Chris Okoye, and Sealver Siliga through a workout on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Jarvis Jenkins (6-foot-4, 300-pounds) is listed as a defensive end but has the body type of a defensive tackle, and would line up in that role for the Saints.
