Injury reports issued early in the week aren’t usually important. But, with the Saints next game being tomorrow night, there is one worrisome bit in the first report from the team for Week 12. There were only two names on the Saints report. One was Terron Armstead with his pectoral muscle injury and that was expected. But a late add was receiver Tre’Quan Smith. That’s a little concerning.
Terron Armstead we knew about. It will be at least another couple of weeks before we should expect to see him playing. The good news there is that backup Jermon Bushrod filled in admirably in the second half of Week 10 against the Bengals and looked solid against the Eagles as well.
