Are you ready for some football? After a long, sometimes-painful offseason, New Orleans Saints fans are downright craving it.
The Yulman Stadium press box announced that 12,000 fans poured into Tulane University on Sunday night for a glimpse of the black and gold. The Who Dat Nation came out in force even with stars like defensive end Cameron Jordan and left tackle Terron Armstead sidelined for veteran’s rest days. The raucous atmosphere was stoked by a Black and Gold Fan Fest outside the stadium, with food trucks and live music on hand to service the fanbase. At one point, team owner Gayle Benson was spotted signing autographs for fans in Yulman Stadium’s lower deck.
