The Saints running back corps would seem to be the only position group in New Orleans that doesn’t stand a chance of being addressed in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft. Mark Ingram, Alvin Kamara, Trey Edmunds and Zach Line are plenty enough for one team, right? Well I’m going to throw a name at you: Dimitri Flowers.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune’s Larry Holder put forth a scenario on Thursday where the Saints might take LSU star running back Derrius Guice in the first round. If he is around at pick 27, he may well be the best player available at that point.
