Alabama’s Calvin Ridley is the consensus number one wide receiver coming out in the 2018 NFL Draft. There may be mock drafts out there that don’t have him as the first wideout taken but I haven’t seen them.
The Saints don’t pick until number 27 in the first round of the upcoming draft so Ridley is obviously off the table, right? Not so fast. In last year’s draft, there was no way the Saints were going to see Marshon Lattimore, a legit top five pick, fall to number 11.
