While New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan was home in Arizona this offseason, he regularly received text messages or phone calls from new defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen.
But, they weren't the typical, "Hey, how you doing?" texts Jordan had grown accustomed to receiving from coaches. According to Jordan, Nielsen would ask him if he's thinking about specific defensive line drills.
"You love it, but at the same time you got to remind coach, hey, step away from football for a week because soon we're going to go in here six months strong," Jordan said.
