The Philadelphia Eagles announced a trade with the New Orleans Saints on Monday evening. The team has acquired 37-year-old veteran long snapper Jon Dorenbos in exchange for a 7th Round draft pick in 2019.
Justin Drescher was the team’s long snapper after the Saints elected to release both Thomas Gafford and Chase Dominguez earlier this month. NOLA.com’s Josh Katzenstein reported that Drescher was talking to trainers on the sideline in Saturday’s game against the Houston Texans and was in a walking boot at practice on Monday.
