There is a lot of hand-wringing going on out there about the Saints not having much in the way of draft picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. They’ve spent a lot of draft capital on players like Marcus Davenport, Teddy Bridgewater and Eli Apple. But does it really matter when you can take an undrafted player like tight end Dan Arnold and make him a star?
Well, let’s dial back the star talk a touch. But Arnold did lead all Saints receivers in Week 12 against the Falcons. Granted, that’s not saying much when your leading receiver only had four catches for 45 yards and a touchdown.
