Saints corner Sterling Moore goes down with pectoral injury

The Saints defense has had another rough start to the NFL season after getting shredded by the Patriots on Sunday, and an already thin secondary might have taken another hit. Cornerback Sterling Moore came up with a pectoral injury on Sunday, according to The Advocate’s Nick Underhill.

At this point it is unclear if Moore will be able to play with the injury or not. The Saints would be ill afforded to lose Moore as the struggling secondary is already down cornerback Delvin Breaux who was put on injured reserve earlier with a broken leg.

Through two weeks Moore has been the second-best performing cornerback on the Saints roster according to Pro Football Focus.
