Heavy rain prompted the New Orleans Saints to move indoors Thursday, and the team was without five players for practice.
Tight end Coby Fleener, rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore, rookie defensive end Trey Hendrickson, defensive lineman Tony McDaniel and offensive lineman Martin Wallace were not present on the football field.
Fleener and Lattimore missed a second consecutive practice. Lattimore is dealing with a tweaked knee, while it is unknown what has caused Fleener, Hendrickson, McDaniel and Walllace to miss work.
With Fleener out, Josh Hill has taken the bulk of first-team repetitions.
