New Orleans Saints cornerback Damian Swann was arrested for speeding and reckless driving in his college town of Athens, Ga., on Friday. According to the police report, Swann was clocked at 100 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone at 2:17 a.m.
Swann was first clocked at 81 miles per hour, then his speed rose to 100 as he passed a vehicle, according to the report. When he was pulled over and asked to exit the vehicle, he did so willingly. And he informed the officer of two handguns in his possession, both of which he had proper permits for.
