Cameron Jordan had NFL roots before being drafted by the New Orleans Saints. His father, Steve Jordan, played 13 seasons in the league as a tight end with the Minnesota Vikings.
During the elder Jordan’s career, he became a six-time Pro Bowl selection from the 1986-91 seasons with the team. He finished his career with the Vikings posting 498 receptions for 6,307 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns.
Minnesota was great to the family, as was the organization, but the younger Jordan has no allegiances to his father’s former team.
Just a few days away from the Saints divisional-game against the Vikings, the Pro Bowl defensive end wants one thing and one thing only, to “destroy” the competition.
