The Saints got themselves a long overdue win against the Buccaneers Sunday, beating their division rival 24-17 and evening the season series 1-1. The defense put together their best performance of the year, despite lots of stupid penalties, while the offense was well-balanced in both the run and passing game. All in all, it was a good game and a reason to remain optimistic about the future of this franchise.
