The New Orleans Saints don’t have great depth at the tight end position. Veteran free agent addition Jared Cook has come on in recent weeks after a slow start to the season, and Josh Hill remains a competent backup option. But Taysom Hill’s forays at tight end haven’t been consistently productive, and the only other tight end remaining on the depth chart is Dan Arnold, who’s on the practice squad. Some additions were to be expected.
