For the Saints, the bad news from last night’s loss to the Vikings was that our secondary is still giving up yardage in huge chunks. The good news is that all of those kickoffs gave our kick return guys a chance to show what they can do.
For some reason, Marcus Sherels didn’t participate. Maybe they were saving him for punt return work. We just need a secondary that can put our opponents in occasional multi-punt game situations and he may see some chances.
The two players given their shots last night were rookie Deonte Harris and former LSU track star Cyril Grayson.
