About a month ago, after the Packers fired Mike McCarthy, we put forth the names of some possible replacements from the Saints coaching ranks. One of those was assistant head coach and tight ends coach Dan Campbell.
On Monday, Black Monday as it’s called, word came out that Dan Campbell was being sought out to interview for three head coaching jobs. One was with the Packers. The other two were with the Cardinals and Browns. Black Monday is the day after the end of the regular season in which many coaches are fired and the search for replacements begins.
