Dylan was chosen out of a large pool of applicants as the honorary captain for his dedication to the greater New Orleans veteran community and Operation Homefront. He is the Executive Director and founder of Bastion, a Community of Resilience. Bastion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is building an internally-designed neighborhood in the Gentilly area of New Orleans for returning warriors and families with lifelong rehabilitative needs. The current design will have 80 homes, a wellness center and common areas for all families that live in the Bastion community. Ground will be broken in March 2016 for the Community of Resilience.
