METAIRIE, La. -- Former New Orleans Saints and LSU running back Hokie Gajan revealed that he is battling cancer. But he said he plans to remain in the radio booth as the team’s color analyst when they play at the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
Gajan, 56, told WWL Radio that he plans to beat the disease and he is waiting on test results for a specific diagnosis.
“I’ll get my diagnosis and treatment scheduled next week, and I hope to be in that booth calling the games with Jim (Henderson) for as long as I can stand him,” Gajan said.
