The New Orleans Saints bolstered their offensive line Wednesday by signing offensive tackle/guard Isaiah Williams to their practice squad, per Josh Katzenstein of the Times-Picayune. Nick Underhill of the Advocate confirmed the report.
Williams was one of three offensive linemen the Saints worked out on Monday, along with former Houston Texans starter Derek Newton and third-year free agent De’Ondre Wesley. Williams entered the NFL in 2015 out of Akron, signing with Washington as an undrafted free agent. He spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts practice squads before returning to Washington, who released him after training camp back in September.
