Saints add linebacker, special teamer Nate Stupar to roster

The team’s website reported the news, stating that the team signed Stupar to a 3-year contract. Nathan Stupar, who turned 28 on March 14, has been in the league since 2012. He was originally the Oakland Raiders seventh-round draft pick (230th overall) out of Penn State, but would bounce around to several teams before he found more stable work with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013 after being claimed from waivers. Stupar played in 12 games, but was later released prior to the 2014 season.

Stupar was added to the Atlanta Falcons roster just one day later, and spent two seasons with the team.
