Saints add former LSU, ex-Cardinals LB Lamar Louis to practice squad

The New Orleans Saints have added a former LSU player to their practice squad, as the team is adding linebacker Lamar Louis. Louis, a Louisiana native from Breaux Bridge, revealed the news per his personal Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.

Louis went undrafted in this year’s draft after playing in 48 games for the LSU Tigers, but was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals. He impressed so much that he initially made the team’s 53-man roster, but would be waived with an injury designation on Sept. 14.
