Yesterday, Tuesday, Jun 10, was a momentous occasion for Cameron Jordan as the $52.5 million deal he signed makes him the fourth highest paid defensive end in the NFL. It was also an auspicious day for another former University of California Golden Bear, wide receiver Chad Hansen.
In a trio of roster moves yesterday, overshadowed by the big news about Jordan, the Saints signed Hansen to a two-year, $1.23 million deal as they continue to tweak what’s available to them for the 90-man roster heading into training camp.
Chad Hansen will be a long shot to make the Saints roster at best with 14 other wide receivers already scheduled to be in camp.
