The New Orleans Saints have called up receiver Bennie Fowler and defensive lineman Margus Hunt from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A new rule this year allows teams an expanded game day roster of up to 55 players, which means twp players a week a can be called up from the practice squad.
Following Sunday’s game against the Tom Brady-led Bucs, Fowler and Hunt will return to the practice squad. Hunt was added to the team this offseason after spending the last three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts in which he started 25 games.
