Dan Arnold, the Saints tight end who began his professional career as an undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver out of the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, is getting another shot. He’s getting called up from the practice squad to add depth at tight end with Jared Cook being out Sunday.
Dan Arnold was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Saints following the 2017 NFL Draft. He had been a standout in college but played at Wisconsin-Platteville whose games are played before a fraction of the number of the people who go to see mid-tier high school games across the Southeast on Friday nights.
