In our first mock draft for 2019, we had barely gotten to know the lay of the land with a lot of the names entering the 2019 NFL Draft. Some that were very low on the big boards are closer to the top now. Even players like Texas A&M tight end Jace Sternberger, who we had the Saints taking in the seventh round, has bounced up to the third round. And Vanderbilt cornerback JoeJuan Williams, who we had the Saints taking in the sixth, has climbed the ladder to almost be in the second round.
These changes will keep happening as players are studied more closely, as pro days commence.
