Big things have been expected in the career of Cameron Meredith after a breakout campaign in 2016 with the Chicago Bears. Then a series of severe knee injuries kept Meredith off the field for the entirety of the 2017 season. The New Orleans Saints took a risk in the 2018 free agent period, signing Meredith to a two-year deal to bring him to the Bayou. It was reported the Bears were not too thrilled with Meredith’s prognosis in his recovery from his knee injury, and were perfectly fine letting him walk away.
