Ingram and Peterson sat out another preseason game. Again, Kamara became the offensive star in their absence. Kamara showed everything you’d want in a running back against the Chargers with a 50-yard touchdown scamper, along with a 22-yard reception. I mentioned Victor Butler as a prime practice-squad candidate last week. Butler made his case again with 58 yards on 14 carries. His longest run was only 11 yards, meaning he ran with consistency.
