Travaris Cadet played his first three seasons in the NFL as a back-up with the New Orleans Saints. He then signed with the New England Patriots as a free agent before the 2015 season. Waived by the Patriots, picked up by San Francisco, then waived by the 49ers, Cadet eventually found his way back home to the Saints, where he finished the 2015 season and played the entirety of 2016.
During Cadet’s first tenure with the Saints, he was often found the recipient of fans’ criticism for bad hands, not being able to catch on-target passes from QB Drew Brees in key situations.
