The New Orleans Saints welcomed back a key player to practice Friday as rookie left tackle Ryan Ramczyk joined his teammates on the field at the indoor facility in Metairie.
Ramczyk, the No. 32 overall pick this year, sat out the previous three practices with an undisclosed injury and was not seen at the Saints' exhibition opener against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night.
For now, Ramczyk appears to be the likely starter at left tackle -- replacing the injured Terron Armstead -- so the team would benefit from him staying healthy and spending as much time as practicing with the offense.
