Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera isn’t expecting his counterpart, New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton, to let off the gas just because he’s run out of things to play for. The Saints have already clinched the NFC first seed in the postseason, and it would make sense for backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to take over for the regular season finale. But Rivera isn’t betting on it:
“We’re always preparing for Drew (Brees). That’s one of those things that you prepare for, who they have. So we’re preparing for Drew, we’re preparing for (Alvin) Kamara, we’re preparing for (Mark) Ingram, and we’re preparing for their best shot.
