The New Orleans Saints shuffled their depth chart at wide receiver over the weekend, promoting third-year pro Krishawn Hogan from the practice squad and waiving rookie Lil’Jordan Humphrey from the 53-man roster. Humphrey passed through waivers unclaimed, and reportedly re-signed with the Saints practice, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. Hogan played 10 snaps on offense and four on special teams in New Orleans’ 31-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Humphrey initially signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Texas; now he’s back on the practice squad to continue developing as a big-bodied slot specialist.
