The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers are two teams vying for Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. in the final minutes before free agency, per Calvin Watkins of the Dallas News. Watkins added that the Dallas Cowboys were among other teams initially in the Harris sweepstakes, along with the Las Vegas Raiders (who just landed Eli Apple) and the New York Jets.
Harris would be a huge get for the Saints, particularly if they’re able to retain Janoris Jenkins across from Marshon Lattimore. Harris has developed into a solid cornerback out on the boundaries, but he’s always played at his best from the slot.
