Fans and supporters of the aggrieved New Orleans Saints may not be out of the woods yet. Per a report from Judy Battista of NFL.com, NFL owners will discuss an adjustment to the recent rules change for instant replay use when they meet in Miami later in May. Back in March, the league ownership group approved a resolution to expand instant replay to include pass-interference fouls, called or not.
The concern arises from when instant replay would be rolled out. Under the approved rule, coaches will be able to challenge pass interference at any point outside the two-minute warning, when the replay official will take over and decide whether to intercede.
