The NFL Draft will not take place under the bright lights and flair of Las Vegas. Rather, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event will occur in a studio setting, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.
Sam Farmer of The Times is reporting the April 23-25 NFL Draft will take place “from some type of studio with cut-ins from the headquarters of the teams making the selection at a given time.”
Farmer adds the paper was able to obtain a memo sent from Commissioner Roger Goodell to all league employees. Goodell wrote “Planning for the Draft is a good example of how we need to think differently, embrace technology and collaborate.
