The New Orleans Saints reportedly waived defensive lineman Glenn Foster Thursday. In his place, the team has agreed to terms with defensive back Travis Manning.
Head coach Sean Payton confirmed in Thursday’s press conference that three cornerbacks worked out for the Saints, one being Alfonzo Dennard, who left without a contract.
It’s a shame to see the team part ways with Glenn Foster. A man defined by potential, he was explosive off the line as an undervalued backup pass rusher, but hasn’t been the same since going down last October with a knee injury, which landed him on injured reserve.
