New Orleans Saints fans are known to be a rowdy bunch, creating a chaotic venue for visiting teams in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Philadelphia Eagles have publicly downplayed concerns about that home field advantage, but privately took steps to get ready for it.
Per a report from WWL play-by-play broadcaster and longtime Saints starting right tackle Zach Strief, Philadelphia expanded their usual crowd noise speakers with a special surround system to recreate Superdome field conditions in practice. As Strief explains in his report, the Eagles have been battering their players daily with thousands of watts of crowd noise.
