Report: Dolphins making late push to poach Teddy Bridgewater

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly making a last-second effort to try and sign New Orleans Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, per Dianna Russini of ESPN. This update comes after it was earlier reported that Bridgewater turned down the Dolphins’ offer to remain in New Orleans, where he hopes to succeed Drew Brees as the starting quarterback later on down the road.

Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald downplayed the report, sticking by his established story that the Dolphins have no serious interest in pursuing Bridgewater. The quarterback Miami was also connected to, Tyrod Taylor, reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers to back up Phillip Rivers for a stress-free two years.
