“The game is won in the trenches” the saying goes. The division as a whole was pretty terrible last year, and this positional group was one of the main culprits. While each team took steps in the off-season to shore up the unit, things still look shaky as a whole.

Last year the Saints weren’t too far from being a very good unit, but instability at the center position had a ripple effect down both sides of the line. Tim Lelito had issues with snapping the ball (apparently), but now he moves over to his natural position at left guard, as newly acquired Max Unger takes over at center.
