After a disastrous year for the secondary, the Saints set out to make sure not to repeat the mistake of overestimating the quality of depth at the position. Keenan Lewis is probably on that second tier of top cornerbacks. He routinely takes players out of the game. Brandon Browner was brought in to be the #2 cornerback opposite Lewis, but he could get some real competition from CFL signee Delvin Breaux. If he doesn’t beat out Browner, I see him as a primary back up on the outside, and also taking snaps at nickel.
