Spending the majority of 2015 as Drew Brees's back-up, Luke McCown started one game in the 2015 NFL regular season, a nail-biting loss to the NFC South rival Carolina Panthers. McCown is now set to resume back up duties in New Orleans, signing a two-year contract to remain in the Crescent City.
In McCown's start against the Panthers, he finished the game 31 for 38 for 310 yards, and was driving the ball down the field on a game-winning drive before a last minute interception by Josh Norman. McCown's other bright spot of the 2015 regular season came in a beautifully executed fake Field Goal to now-Baltimore Raven Benjamin Watson against the Indianapolis Colts.
