Pro Football Hall of Fame dedicates statue in honor of Tom Benson for his stadium contributions

The Pro Football Hall of Fame honored Tom Benson Thursday for his support of the Hall's recently completed stadium renovation by dedicating a statue of the New Orleans Saints owner.

The life-sized statue was unveiled during a ceremony outside the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. In 2014, Benson gifted $10 million to the Hall toward the construction of the $137 million stadium.
