Williams Out for Season
The Saints finished 25th in the league against the pass in 2014, which is one reason they drafted Williams in the third round. However, they were forced to place him on the season-ending injured reserve despite the high hopes surrounding him, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Williams was seen as a value pick at the time of the draft after a second-team All-ACC season at Florida State.
