Drew Brees and Philip Rivers have been two of the NFL's elite quarterbacks for more than a decade since the San Diego Chargers decided to split them up back in 2006. And this year is no exception.
Brees leads the NFL with 1,062 yards despite the New Orleans Saints' 0-3 start. He is tied for the league lead with eight touchdown passes, and he just threw his first interception in more than 300 attempts in the fourth quarter Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons.
But Rivers has an even better passer rating, with five TD passes and zero picks in San Diego's 1-2 start.
